Terms of service

Last updated: October 21, 2026

These terms apply to your use of this website and to anything you buy from it. The website is run by The Bosun’s Daughter LLC, the photography business of Sandra Falcetta, based in Hartford, Connecticut (“The Bosun’s Daughter”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What we sell here

This store sells wall calendars of Sandra Falcetta’s photographs. Each calendar is printed when you order it and is printed and shipped by Lulu, our print partner, which handles printing, shipping, returns and cancellations for calendar orders under its own terms.

Prints, cards and other items shown in the galleries are sold through our print shop on SmugMug. Those orders are placed with, paid to and fulfilled by SmugMug, which handles their printing, shipping, returns and cancellations, and SmugMug’s own terms and privacy policy apply to them.

Orders and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Shipping and any applicable sales tax are shown at checkout before you pay. We ship within the United States only.

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your order confirmation by email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there is an obvious error in the price or description, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

Payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not see or store your full card details.

Product descriptions

We describe and show our products as accurately as we can. Colors can look different from one screen to another, and a printed photograph will not match a backlit screen exactly. Sizes are approximate.

Shipping, returns and refunds

Our Shipping policy and Refund policy form part of these terms.

Copyright and use of the photographs

All photographs, text and designs on this site are © Sandra Falcetta and The Bosun’s Daughter LLC, and are protected by copyright law. All rights are reserved.

Buying a calendar or print gives you the physical item for your own personal enjoyment. It does not give you any right to copy, scan, reproduce, resell as copies, or use the photographs commercially. Please do not download, copy or remove watermarks from images on this site.

If you would like to license a photograph or use one in a publication, exhibition or commercial setting, please get in touch.
