Where Stillness Takes Flight

Pawcatuck, Connecticut — A lone gull crossing a quiet dock and coastal marsh beneath the pastel light of sunset. The horizontal dock leads through a rhythmic line of pilings toward the bird in flight, while their reflections extend the geometry into the softly rippled water below. Beyond them, low marshland and layers of peach, pink, and blue create a tranquil horizon, balancing the structure of the waterfront with one fleeting moment of movement.
