Fine-art photography of the New England coast
I’m Sandra Falcetta. The Bosun’s Daughter is my work: New England’s working harbors, lighthouses and tidal shorelines, photographed in the light and weather that give the coast its character. My photography is available through fine-art prints, annual calendars, and a selection of curated merchandise.
Long before the harbor fills with visitors, it’s already at work: lines coming off the pilings, engines turning over, gulls following the boats out past the breakwater. That’s the coast I want to show you — not simply the postcard view, but the places, details and moments that give it character.
Some people tell me my photographs show them something they’d never noticed. Others simply say, “I was there.” Both matter to me. A different perspective can make a familiar place feel new — or bring you back to a place you already know. Either way, I hope something here feels like yours.
